good catch on that,  It makes sense that they used those button magnets for other things besides the Pertwee through Davidson sonic.

I had just assumed that they were the same Alinco button magnets that were used on the back of the Classic Sonic Screwdriver Emitter. Here some pics of the Alinco button magnets in the standard red, one stripped before I painted it again, and then one in place from when I upgraded my RBReplicas (aka RussRep) sonics a few years ago.
