Thank you very much. No more upgrades planned yet, not until I come across some appropriate bits and pieces.

Shapeways.com have some TARDIS controls on there

Cardinal Hordriss

That's where I got my door handle controls. It's more a case of seeing something and thinking it would look great on my console rather than looking for anything specific.

The only problem with Shapeways is they can be rather expensive, depending on what you're looking for. (I mean, $300.41 US for a full-scale Series 1-4 TARDIS Roof Lamp? You can get the same thing from Amazon - in metal - for only $32.00 US, and it comes with a battery-operated pillar candle that you can use elsewhere. Granted you have to modify the lamp cap, but I think it would be worth it to save almost $230.00.)

Some of their things are reasonable and well worth it, but some others are just out-of-your-mind overpriced.

The TARDIS Databank has gone. The panel has always looked like something of an after thought... until now...

Apologies to The14thDr, my printer broke so I wasn't able to use the Veritas paper after all. I'll try printing it at work next week.

Very nice, I like the computer plotter feel of that panel.

Thanks.

I'm not sure why the black rest across the top of the switches looks so wonky in the photos, it's perfectly straight in to the naked eye.

It could have to do with the fact that it's angled - slanted higher in the back than in the front. That can throw perspective off when taking photos unless your camera is perfectly lined up square on it. So it's not you, but just a little fiddly thing that you'd drive yourself mad with trying to line up. (Even with a tripod it wouldn't be that easy.)

Besides, until you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed it. :) (I'd call that a success - the fact that it's not noticeable in the photos unless you mention it, that is.)

No worries at all, no need to apologise!

That refurbished panel looks great! :o The magnifying glass is a nice touch, as are those switches across the bottom. A simple yet effective design if you don't mind me saying, and to me it fits in perfectly with the rest of the console.

Simple is important as the overall console is fairly classic series influenced so anything too over the top just wouldn't fit with the other panels so it was intentional and I don't mind you saying at all ;)

Thanks to everyone for your comments.

Nice! What did you use for the surround on that little port?
