Should this have been in the build diary section?

Anywho, decided to make a proper randomizer lever to replace the simple one I first made. The simple one had a 180 degree arc and the pivot above the panel, this one as you can see fits into the panel.

That lever looks awesome Cardinal Hordriss!! Can't wait to see it installed on the console. ;) ;D

Tomorrow is my dusting day so it'll be ready for pictures after that and hopefully I remember that flipping dematerialisation circuit lol.

Cardinal Hordriss

Thank you.

It's my favorite control, about time I did it properly.

The go faster stripe on the left of the panel has been smoothed out now, on that first pic it looks rather tatty. That one's always been trouble.

The clicker broke on my helmic regulator so I'm replacing it (the big silver and black dial) with this -

Using the centre you can rotate the spokes so it acts like a working navigational instrument for charting a course etc.

Now that looks seriously cool!! I like how it even looks like a radar screen, which fits in perfectly with how it's meant to be a navigational type instrument.

Fantastic work as always Cardinal!

Thank you kindly 14th. I'll fit it later once I'm sure the glue has set.

No problem. Can't wait to see this installed on the console (but one can never take any chances when waiting for glue to set, it's usually best to leave it overnight - or risk ruining something by moving it around too much before it has set fully.)

I love the idea you have behind it!
What are you gonna do? Moisturize me?

Oh, that is brilliant!! :o (I'm running out of superlatives to describe this build with!) The new helmic regulator fits in perfectly with the rest of the panel (I also love how the calculator just blends into the panel, it doesn't even look like a piece of office equipment, it really does look like something made specifically for a TARDIS.

Overall, such a beautifully classic design with plenty of your own touches. I'm insanely jealous of this build. ;)

Thank you 14th, you always know how to cheer me up.  I'm in bed, blinds closed, feet numb with codeine, ice pack on head, sunglasses on (Capaldi ones lol) and still got a pounding migraine.

I do value your opinion on these things and I'm pleased you think it fits and are impressed with the overall look. For some reason the column looks a bit narrower in the pics, the panels look steeper too, must be the angles.
