I'm putting this here because it covers props, consoles and boxes, I hope I did right.

So my day began with mum and myself being invited down to the Rubbertoe workshops, lots of fun but no pics I'm afraid.

Next was the Doctor Who Experience (5th time I think) and console room tour, here are a few pics, not going to bombard you with pics of the same things posted elsewhere by others. This will take a few posts.

Great photos. I've been at the experience 2 times now. It sure had changed during the time between the 2 visits.

Mum and I got very lucky, as the last two we had the console room to ourselves! The guide let me open the roundel drinks cabinet and the glasses and Aldebaran brandy were still in there!

Wow!!! I'm so jealous right now (and you say you got to visit the Rubbertoe workshops? Now I'm even more jealous!! )

These are some beautiful photos Cardinal (especially of the props - particularly the damaged sonic screwdriver from The Magician's Apprentice and River's sonic trowel - those are some props we've been lacking in reference material for! Thanks!)

And who knew they had so many of those psychic containers - I'm counting 9 altogether!

P.S. You guys were SO lucky to get the console room to yourself; I wish I could've gone on the set visit (then again, if I had gone, I never would've wanted to leave )

People kept asking which Doctor I was meant to be but that's actually just my style of dress. I dare say watching Doctor Who from the age of 3 has had an impact though lol.

Something about mixing the formal jacket with the heavy boots... like Matt Smith and the tweed, you don't think it would work but it does. Suits you, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought it was a Doctor-ish look.
