How do!

As I mentioned in another thread as I still had the molds left over from my 1:7 scale Original Brachacki build, I thought I'd have a crack at making the Altered version (or as I like to call it, the Knackered Brackkers version).

I'm aiming for the version of the prop as was when they were filming Time Warrior, which was the version in play when I first started watching the show aged three



I was going to do a build diary; however it would pretty much be a duplication of my last build so here are a few random pictures...













If I get the chance I can take some more interesting pictures this weekend. If feel some more dematerialisation video's coming on...

I used to have a real affection for this version; however now I've come to build one I can safely say the irregular shape of the prop really did my head in! I imagine that if you were looking at the full sized version you probably wouldn't notice how much of an odd shape it was, but when you look at a smaller version you can take the whole shape in and all the inconsistencies really jump out at you!

Lovely version of the Knacker Brackker prop there Steve! For a one-seventh scale version I think you really have captured her in all her idiosyncratic crookedness!

However, one small criticism (and since you told me the same thing twice, I feel justified in saying this): Your lawn needs a cut!

Tony - guilty as charged!

I'm planning on cutting it at the weekend, then I'm planning on taking a few photos. When the grass is really short it makes the models look more in scale

What camera set up are you using? I'm no camera expert, but don't model shots often use a different type of lens that helps sell the scale? Not that these need any help looking awesome!

Honestly, just my iPhone 7. 

I've a Canon EOS I've been using for stills until recently; however on close shots like this the phone camera gives a much better result.

The Video is done with the phone as well...

I'm sure there must be a time law against having two versions of the same Tardis in such close proximity at the same time. Beware inadvertent 'time rams'!

I'm loving those videos! (Not to mention the TARDIS models; they're beautiful!) And there's something I just find pleasing in that smooth fade out when the TARDIS dematerializes. It just looks so much cleaner, more professional, than that pulsating in and out over and over before finally disappearing (or appearing) that's taken over the sequences in the New Series.
