So, the slot was present in Planet of the Spiders. I wonder if anyone can find any earlier evidence of its existence?!

Is that it in this shot from the Time Warrior?

It looks very faintly to have a slot there and the yale lock is painted over.

The original lock looks completely gummed up with paint!
