They certainly appear to be low on the electricity consumption side....

Can't help but wonder if they have them inside the windows on the front, photos from filming (at least from the next episode) showed that the windows were not lit, but so far they all have been, and uniformly so.


I believe a while back Purpleblancmange confirmed that indeed that is how the windows were lit on the NST. I dont know if it was the same exact product but it was some form of electric paper sheet.

The Door sign  and the windows are all now back lit with EL Sheet, you can google it, pretty cool stuff.

Yes the EL Sheet is awesome but at $75 for a 8x8 sheet it would cost about $700 to do. I think that is about the cost of materials for my Box LOL.....

I will have to go with a Low Tech light bulb....
