This is a great shot from "Colony In Space" story, which BTW comes after "The Claws of Axos" & the Doctor still had The Master's Laser Gun, so he (The Master) must have made another.

Beautiful grabs, Chris! Thanks for getting and posting those for us. I have to admit, that pink light looks more threatening in those indoors shots than it does in the outdoors shots. (All due to ambient/studio lighting conditions, I shouldn't wonder.)

And I hope you realize that since you've posted that beautiful publicity photo of Roger Del Gado (the close-up) from that photo gallery, this is the image that will flash through my head every time I post something, and Tony follows it with "I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you..."

(It was always bad enough that all I could hear was "the Master's" voice in my head when I read Tony's posts, but now you've damaged me for life! )

Not really all your fault, though; I think Tony's avatar has something to do with that!

It's great pic too.

I can't draw or paint for peanuts, but the wife is very talented. Is there a spot for pictures/paintings at all, wife did one for me & would love to post it some where for others to see. It's one of Rose & Jack on the top of his ship in front of BIG BEN.

Of course. Correction duly noted. I've seen his hame spelled so many different ways in so many places. It's nice to know the proper spelling. (As one with a surname name that's constantly misspelled I do try to get others' surnames correct.) <all said with hypnotic-state voice>

I made a laser gun a wile back.


Oblivion made one also.



But, to a reference image I made of the position of the rings & the power pack underneath the dish emitter. I think Oblivion may have added a little too many rings on the handle. Still, his is a way better awesome job then mine.  



If I could get in touch with him, I'd ask to see how he makes his vacuum molds.

You did a nice job there on yours Elkad, I seen Oblivion's on DiviantArt, I'm still in the process of getting all the bits together for mine.

When I made mine I counted the rings on the tip, where the battery case & the rest of the handle form this picture.

The dish you can make from the top of a soda bottle or you can use a craft Christmas ornament, cut to size. (those craft ornaments are amazingly useful)

The emitter tip, I can't tell if it's a regular cap for the light or if it's an acrylic rod with silver painted spacers, because when I see it fired in the Claws of Axos screencaps, the tip ether glows or it's a reflection.
Honestly I'd go with the acrylic rod. Looks more... cool, as in ice.
