Nice, I bet the speaker sounds great!
Tight squeeze, though. I suppose you could fake the lamp with some VFX trickery  ;D (didn't they actually have to do that in one classic episode when the ceiling was too low?)

I think they did; I just can't remember which story it was in - and they probably had to do it more than once.

B, since that ceiling slopes, I don't suppose you could shift things around the room a bit to give yourself the <bad pun coming> Max Headroom available for a lamp on top?

I think it was Destiny of the Daleks...
Also, I agree with galacticprobe about shifting things around.
I think a lamp would just about fit if you moved the box to the right, stonemason83.

Gents,
Theirs a glass door to the right that opens into and collides with the Tardis. Ive had to put a bump stop on the door so it doesnt scratch it when the dog charges through chasing pigeons  ;D

A preventative measure to stop a dog, chasing pigeons, from damaging the Tardis....  ???

Hi everyone,

I've done a little work over the festive period to weather and distress the exterior.
Read up on some other build posts and went for the good old Kiwi show polish "wax on wax off" approach.
Also fitted subtle interior lighting via some under counter kitchen cupboard lighting strips 12v.

The big jobs are over now, although id like to fully strip it down and re assemble so everything lines up and is straight and true but thats a job i'll keep putting off for now -also a light switch and conduit for the wiring.

Ive enclosed a picture of the back of the Tardis which was pretty much in an untouched state when the picture was taken so you can see how it was and what colour TPE painted it at the workshop originally.

I just enjoy sitting in my lounge glancing over and seeing it in its splendour and watching the light flash away, every home should have one.

I've gone back to my Dalek build after 9 months away and started work on the gun box (nightmare) and sanding and finishing the skirt. Fortunate to be off work on paternity leave for 6 months now so its a pleasure to work on again and since all this is for my Son one day it gives me the motivation to soldier on.

Pictures for your collective enjoyment

Happy New Year

That's turned out quite well.  As I've said before, the box has quite a few Newberry cues to it, but the location is very reminiscent of the UNIT lab in "The Three Doctors."  All you need is a big glowy blob being held at bay by Sgt Benton.

Hopefully this will hold you over, Other Steve, and Bry, until the real thing comes along. ;)

So its been a while.
I recently repainted the old girl in Prussian blue and weathered down a bit more extremely trying to match details and damage to a few Newbery pictures

You just need to photoshop a little graininess into the picture and you've got it about right!

I think that's a very nice box and the slight scaling down makes it a good indoor size. I can't really contribute to the identification discussion. If I were to guess I'd say the sign above the door looks like the font from the 96 box, the doors are too wide for the Yardley Jones although the roof looks more akin to that model. It's a bit of a dream-team box, like someone picked their favorite features of multiple props.

I think buying a box will be my best bet one day when I'm well enough to hold down a full-time job. My woodwork/carpentry skills aren't really up to anything but a basic box with bits glued on lol.
I speak to you from the final days of Gallifrey. I am the past you have forgotten. You are the future I will not live to see...

That's exactly what did happen! Its a TPE 9/10th "TV TARDIS".

TPE couldn't decide what style they wanted for their TV box, So PB cherry picked bits from all of them :-)
