The link I posted above would be perfect for anyone who wanted to have the painting printed off and framed, as this would be a great addition to a Whovian's room (or just any room in general )

Also, another way to make this prop would be to build the painting in multiple layers (say, for example, the background, then the city, then the smoke, then the lasers, etc.) and create a sort of diorama, giving you actual 3D Time Lord art.

Wow! Nice find, 14th! Thanks for the link! I wonder if this could be made to look like it has that 3-D effect by using that holographic, prismatic method they used on some of those trading cards. You know the ones I'm talking about; the ones that make you dizzy (and trigger vertigo episodes) if you're not careful when you look at them because they look like there's so much depth to them.

Doing it in layers like you suggest would be amazing, but then you'd need to have enough room to cut a suitable hole in the wall to accept the depth of the "painting". And building it up like that to capture all of the details for a great diorama could drive one mad, and take several years to do it right... to do the diorama right, that is; not to drive one right mad, although I'm sure that wouldn't help the madness. (I love that idea, though! But then, I think we all know that I'm mad. )

Thanks Dino. I think I'm mad enough to give it a go at some point, but I need to finish up a few of my other projects first.
