Welcome back TG! (in advance of your draft being posted) :)
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Great to see the new pics! Scrolling back to compare to the previous (2006) photo, I have to say, she's looking amazing for her age, you clearly take better care of your Tardis than The Doctor does.
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.

Hi Marc! I'll never believe that 'Drafts, visible only to you' message again!

Hi Angelus - I have taken care of her, but, apart from a couple of repaints over the years, she's had to have all the window frames rebuilt, the base rebuilt and the flat/sloped surfaces of the roof replaced. All this probably due to a combination of the British weather, untreated wood and my poor craftsmanship!

I only saw that there was a draft. Didn't see any content, promise :)

The design of a Met box is questionable for anyplace with rain for a concrete roof.  The wooden TARDIS with its flatter roof is completely insane.  Congratulations on keeping her trim for a decade.  Look for Patrick Troughton and John Pertwee to tumble out it while William Hartnell is trapped in your television set.

It's always exciting (and a little jealous) when I see a TARDIS with real pebbled glass.  The "crackle" fluorescent diffusers are a decent inexpensive option.  And with nothing to compare them to, you can just about convince yourself they're pretty nice.  Then you see some pebbled glass panes like these and and it reignites the desire again.
"My dear Litefoot, I've got a lantern and a pair of waders, and possibly the most fearsome piece of hand artillery in all England. What could possibly go wrong?"
-The Doctor.

Happy Xmas!
The photo shows that both "old girls" are looking great!

Loving the sonic shades, too. I think these are going to be the "must have" accessories for 2016!

I found this place for reasonably priced pebbled glass cut to size.   http://www.wgsonline.com/glazing/depe.html

I have no affiliation with this company.

Yeah, I've looked at that place, while considering options, but really a lot of their stuff is more "hammered" and other varieties of privacy than the classic early-mid 20th century pebbled glass.  Nicer than what I've got, but not nicer than the panes in TG's TARDIS.

There is one, though, that looks pretty promising:

Not quite the same as the classic pebbled pattern like Timegirl's, but really pretty close if the size of the "pebble's" is comparable. It's just a bit more random in the patterning. Certainly the closest I think I've seen in currently available new glass.

Always a pleasure to see your build, Timegirl!

Wow. That one IS pretty good!  You wouldn't tell it from the thumbnail though.  It just looks like some kind of generic hammered privacy glass until you look at the detail photos.  Good find, guys.  Tempting.

A year on from my rebuild, lovely weather in the UK today.
My TARDIS has survived the British winter well
It is my most favourite thing in the world - makes me happy every time I see it.
(I can safely say that as Mr.TG doesn't read this board)

It's looking gorgeous TG :) x

No offense to any other builds,  but this one has always been my absolute favorite. If there was a TARDIS  I was going to go steal  to replace my crappy handiwork, it would be this one..

Angelus Lupus

Probably my favourite, too. Certainly one of the reasons I joined here was so I could 'like' threads such as this and bookmark them.
Always happy to see new pictures, and you're right TG, the weather today makes this look beautiful! Well.. the gorgeous garden helps, too!

BTW, I think you're the closest build to me on here, so if the Tardis did go missing, I'd probably be the prime suspect!  ;D

Indeed.  I'm glad you bumped this with new pictures.  There are literally too many nice touches on this build to say "my favorite thing is..." on it.  Having said that, I do like the roof.  I think it gets closer to looking like a police box while still definitely looking like a TARDIS.
