Reading the earlier post did the canvas keep the roof water tight,?  it is a great idea.
I guess looking at your pics it did the job.

Its seems to be holding up really well. No water. No rot. But I am cheating because I am in Colorado, and the air is so dry wood doesn't rot. You can still find  the remains of log cabins built 100 years ago and not maintained since. But I didn't want it leaking either and with my poor woodworking skills, that roof didn't join up as well as one might hope. The canvas and paint sealed where my wood working skills failed.

That looks FANTASTIC! Well done (ba-dum tish!).    I  think your proportions are lovely - sort of NSD in the classic shape.  Gorgeous,  just... wow.     Now, just sit back and enjoy!   And keep thinking of little things to add...
