Does any one know what kind of light they used on the 2005-2010 Tardis or how many they used to light the windows. I also wanna know how they did that wierd lighting thing on the window where it's lit around the edges. Also maybe help with lamp light even though it's in the wrong section would be nice. And sign boxes

Hi, they had 4 tube lights attached around the rim of each window, and a reflective box covering the whole back of the window to bounce the light back out a bit.

The lamp on top is a Gardman Lantern. While the original Gardman of this style isn't available any longer, there are really close facsimiles, such as this one from Amazon:

The plus side of this other version is that it comes with plastic "panes" rather than glass, so no chance of them shattering. The original as used on the TARDIS was modified so the panes were curved, and this can be achieved by popping out the easily-removable panes in this lantern and replacing them with the plastic from a large curved bottle: say a 2-liter bottle of cola or some such that comes in a clear bottle. (A hot glue gun will put those curved pieces in place and keep them there.)

The candle in this lantern is a battery-operated one that is removable via three small screws in the bottom, which then leaves a nice hole in the bottom of the lantern for light to shine up through. The original was designed for a tea light, and was modified with a hole saw to cut the hole for the light. There was no actual "bulb" or light fixture in the original; all of the light shone up through that hole in the bottom.

The lamp cap was also modified on the original to remove the "bee hive" part on top of the domed sections. The bee hive was replaced with a flat metal disc into which the little nipple with the hole in it was replaced.

The "struts" that ran from the lamp cap to the lamp base had at least three configurations: cap to corners of the square box under the lantern base; cap to the lamp base with one lining up with each corner; cap to the lamp base with the struts almost right up against the lamp's body, giving the struts an angled look, and in this configuration the struts lined up with the center of the square box under the lamp.
