I'v seen several types of Stazers in the series.

Type 01 from "Invasion Of Time"

Type 02 from "Ark Of Infinity"

The Stazer rifle from the "Deadly Assassin"

And the Stazer gun the Master used in the "Deadly Assassin"

Some Stazers look easer to build than the others, like the Stazer 01, 02 & rifle. The impulse laser, more difficult, can't see the detail of the gun very well. As for the Stazer the Master had looks like a modifided toy machine gun.

I know the one the master has is from a toy M16 rifle thats cut down.

Those cylinders on the side of the rifle are little butane cylinders. I used to have a small butane torch that used them.

Those cylinders are also used in air guns (and paintball guns) and are filled with CO2 gas. Those are easy to empty if you're worried about one giving out and going kaboom. All you need is one of those air or paintball guns, and then just fire away until the cylinder is empty (and repeat for as many cylinders as you want, and you can have some fun doing it, too!).

Of course if you've got some buddies that are into paintballing or shooting air guns, you could always hit them up for their empty cylinders.

Im sure I saw a really nice replica of Hedin's impulse laser at Smallspace 4 this last weekend.

elkad

You think you can get some reference pics of it?

I've just looked through the pictures I took at the event, No clear shots i'm afraid however you can see it amongst these fascinating bits and bobs...

The only thing you can't see is the trigger, but it's a amazing start. Thanks for the pics  ;D (two thumbs up, way up)

BTW; I came across somone who made some awsome scratrch builds including the Earthshock Rifle on RPF.

Take a look. >>> http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=218326

Senseidale

The star Trek Phaser (STOS) looks like the one from the wand company TV remote I have one.
I do like all the cyber men heads all together giving me ideas.

I'm with you on the Cyber heads, Sensidale.... ;)

Is the phaser remote as difficult to control as the two Sonic screwdrivers?

I've got the screwdrivers, which make impressive displays; however I never use them as remotes cause they're too flaming fiddly... :D

the pictures I took of the replica are much larger. Whilst they are obscured by other cool props they may help you, especially with the handle. Let me know if you want copies of the full sized versions.

The Impulse laser, ES trooper rifle and the ES trooper helmet are the actual props. If I can get better images of that impulse laser for you I will do next time I see the owner. It's dressed with EMA sections though, it has those same details as the end of the cyberman gun barrel. The back detaches and the batteries slot in the rear! I don't know if anybody else clocked it but the black handled gun at the front of the table is an original B7 prop that went on to double for Sabalom Glitz's blaster.

Anyone know were I can find a diagram / blueprint of this prop, or someone can make a 3D render?

Kingpin

I love the update to the design, and how it still keeps the familiar lines of the older props.
