I built a 4th Doctor era console room earlier this century. It took several years of weekends to build...

Then of course inevitably I had to move house....

... so it all came with me.
And here it is reassembled. Several of these photo's have a very wide angle, and make the room look much larger than it is.

The story is all on my website: Relative Dimensions.

You remain one of my heroes.

I really like that shot down onto the console through the column, very nice!   And for some reason, the roof in your console room totally sells it for me - that (amongst a room of amazing acheivements) impresses me inordinately.

Wow, absolutely stunning,  Its so much better then the 1st incarnation of your console room.  I need to get over there to see it first hand again.  Beautiful work Crispin.

Well, I like to think of it as just an eccentric piece of interior decor.

You were aware that it's actual time-traveling capabilities are fairly limited, right?  ;)

I love it , better than the crappy BBC exhibitions, the attention to detail is fantastic,as with the previous comment the ceiling really sets it off,of course we never saw the ceiling in the show as there would not have been one due to lighting etc.. so having one installed gives the best idea of what it would really look like, Now get that central column moving  :)
so let me get this straight,A thing that looks like a Police box standing in a junkyard,It can move anywhere in Time and space ?

What he said.
Also, your console and console room are one of the biggest factors in me deciding to build my console.  :)
Excellent work!
Now finish your season 14 console as well!

 :o Holly Cow....This is a FULL SIZE room?!!!!!! :o :o
because there's no person in the room (for scale) at first glance I thought maybe a model...but the details are too fine.
Where the heck is this set up? Basement?
It's G O R G E O U S Crispin, absolutely gorgeous.
If I ever get to your side of the pond may I come play?
<grin>

Nice screens on picture 4 (using the menu not scrolling down)

It's got to be so much fun playing at that!
