So I've finished the build diary for now, until more modifications are made.  Here is a bit of a gallery to show off how good it was.  I'm quite proud of my sexy girl, and my sexy wife.  ;)

Another interesting one.  The wife was waving at little Edward to come to the TARDIS.

And this one is real Facebook cover photo material:

Wonderful! Something about the setting really makes it look like the Tardis has just landed there. Even the power cable running into the Old Girl kinda makes it look like the actual prop sometimes does!
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but it clearly looks like you spent the whole day with a goofy grin on your face, as if you can't quite believe your luck. And who can blame you, you got the Tardis and the beautiful companion. Lovely to see shared geekery being enjoyed and celebrated. Now get off the forum and go and enjoy being married  ;D

The blue vests and other clothing accents were a neat touch for a fun, themed wedding.  Well done.

I see an extension cord poking out the door.  Why were you running power from the TARDIS control room?  Was the wedding too far away from a power outlet to be practical for the rest of the wedding stuff?  ;)

The one thing left to say is: Congratulations mate!
Sad really, isn't it? People spend all their time making nice things, and other people come along and break them.~The 2nd Doctor

Well, during the construction I had planned on putting the Old Girl somewhere else, possibly quite far away from a plug.  I was charging the battery for a little while, topping it up.  I took advantage of an unexpected power outlet, but unplugged it before people started showing up for the wedding.

So winter is finally coming for us again.  It snowed twice so far this month, melting both times.

This was the second snowfall, and I'm surprised it melted at all.  I took these two Wednesday morning.

That snow melted over the next few days,  then we got this frost yesterday morning.

I'll post again when i have new material to show you. I can't wait to get some good winter photos when I move to my new house.

Nothing beats a snow-covered TARDIS... except materialising your TARDIS around a snow-covered TARDIS!

I really like your clear windows.  If I had more time than I do now, clear windows is on my list of things I'd like to do.  I worry that all the junk in my TARDIS would be on display with clear windows, but looking at the angles in your photos, I almost think it would work.  (Especially because I'd do blue tinted for the bottom center pane.)

Dale, Dino, and Volpone, thanks for all the compliments.  I have to shamefully admit I haven't been on TARDIS builders since uploading these photos.

Volpone, I like my windows too.  I was thinking of tinting them black like Capaldi's, but then I saw the latest Christmas episode.  They removed the tint!  I wonder if they'll bring it back?

Oh my God.  You know how you think of the witty comeback you should have said 20 minutes too late?  I just realized how you should have ended the wedding:  After the "...Man and Wife," and the kiss, wave goodbye to everyone, pop in the TARDIS, flash the lights and run the dematerialization sound...and then set off a big smoke bomb and come staggering out, coughing and with smudged-up faces, one of you holding a fire extinguisher and the other holding a burned out circuit board or something, and say "well, it looks like we're stuck here after all, off to the reception!"  Classic Pertwee fashion.

Haha, good idea Volpone! Great minds think alike. If I could do it again I would. When building the TARDIS, I had no idea I'd be marrying right in front of it. The wife and I thought the old girl wouldn't be allowed on the ceremony area because of it's size, but when it came to it, the manager and I agreed it would be a perfect spot.

With that in mind, I would've made it AC and ran an extension cord to power it. My battery only lasted a few hours.

And of course, it would've been easy at that point to do sound effects through a stereo, and make some smoke. I'd definitely have sound effects from Pertwee trying to take off.

I'm really disappointed my interior wasn't more cool looking for the wedding too, because this little boy wanted to see the inside of the TARDIS. It was nothing but a battery hidden under a custom plywood box, and wires running up the corner to the lights. I told him the Time Lords got mad because I borrowed the TARDIS, so they took the Dimensional compensator. That's why it's not bigger on the inside anymore.

So, it's May 12th, and it's suddenly decided to snow in Thompson. All this was melted for over 2 weeks now.

So this was last week before I finished raking the lawn... I just finished taking the old girl apart and fixing a few things before putting it back together.

Then, this started yesterday.

And now, this afternoon it is still snowing hard.

Note: I had this sitting in my drafts for 2 days...  Sorry guys.
