Hello everyone,

If you need a sound effect from the show, chances are I have it.  Here are a few samples.
(Note that some are in 5.1)

I also have a huge collection of foley (including switch hits, sonic screwdriver movements) at hand.  If you need anything else, go ahead and message/post here.

absolutely

how many switch sounds do you have?

i need like, uh...

all of them.

Hodge

The sonic movements and switch effects would be really useful.

elkad

I have allot of switch sound effects recorded from the series. It may take me awhile to search threw my files.

Mrblorx, do you have those files in any other format besides .flac? My computers don't recognize that format. A .WAV. or .MP3 would be helpful, especially for the 2010 mid-flight crash loop file. The Eye of Harmony loop would also be nice.

absolutely

windows media player is able to play .flac files - but otherwise foobar2k works fine too.

Well, someone needs to tell my computers that! They keep telling me that they can't play them because the files are not in a format that Windows Media understands (and I've quoted her - and the other her - on that).

That's a new one on me. I've never heard of that before now. Foobar2k? (Sounds a lot like "FUBAR 2k" - which is what everyone panicked about when the year rolled over from 1999 to 2000.)

My total switch hits counts up to more than 25, Bazzle.  I'm not 100% too sure exactly how many I have, but I do have at least 25.  Here's the link.

Sonic FX is a whole different ballgame, as there are a TON of them.  I've made a folder on Google Drive here.

VLC Media Player plays FLAC files, as well as Audacity.  I don't think Windows Media Player can play FLAC without a codec pack, if I remember correctly.  Then again, I don't use WMP...  If I get the time I can convert them and re-upload them.

Oh, if you all want any music to re-recreate your favorite Doctor Who moments, I have that too.  (More screen accurate version here)

Thank you all for the interest!

Could you also do the 2013 TARDIS Handbrake one? Tried to find something on the web, without reaching my goal.

Many thanks in advance already!

+-Nevermind, it's in your switches pack. Many many MANY thanks!-+

No problemo!  Always happy to help.

Now I have a new one: It's the "wind" whistling sound when the TARDIS Lands or Takes Off. Especially heard in
"The Name of the Doctor" and the Episode with Craig, which I can't remember the title of.
And if it's possible the "Shutter" sound when there's a turbulence. A good example is "The day of the Moon 1", when he runs
against the invisible TARDIS.

There were two episodes with Craig: "The Lodger" (Series 5), and "Closing Time" (Series 6). I'm guessing you're referring to "The Lodger" because there wasn't much of the TARDIS seen in "Closing Time".

Have you looked at this site: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/TardisSounds/info ? The Files section has quite a few sounds in it. You have to be a member to view the files, but membership is free, and the files are in either MP3 or WAV format and also free for download. (Two of our members happen to be an owner and a moderator of that Yahoo! Group, and some of our member here are also members there. That Group was started because while we can post all sorts of photo references here, we can't post sounds. It's also a "quiet" group, meaning that there is not much activity, so you don't have to worry about getting your inbox filled with e-mails. In fact, there hasn't been an e-mail sent in over a year. You only see something when someone posts a question, or when someone uploads a new sound. Otherwise, there's no "chatter".)

Give it a check, and if you have any problems joining, shoot me a PM and I'll try to help out as best I can.

I'm not sure I understand.  The files themselves are 24 bit FLAC, at 48000khz.  Some are even in 5.1 surround sound.  Which sounds (specifically) are you talking about?  I'll try and see if I can get a better copy, if possible.
Thank you for alerting me to this, and sorry for the trouble.

I'm not sure I understand...

I think Renegade might be referring to the sound files posted on the TARDIS Sounds Yahoo! Group site I linked above. Those files were posted by members of the group. I posted a few that I had, and a couple I created (by request). So I have no control over the quality of the sounds that are posted there, other than the ones I posted, and I tried to post the cleanest sounds possible.

If those sounds aren't good enough, well, one has to remember that those are "fan provided" sounds, not professionally made ones. They might not be useable if you're planning to make a big screen feature film, but they're fine and perfectly useable for "Fan Films". Saying their "quality is horrid" is a bit on the harsh side, especially to anyone providing a reference (or the sound), whether from that Yahoo! Group, or from mrblorx, or any other site. But to use an insulting statement ("quality is horrid") and then say "Don't take that the wrong way" is sort of a further insult. (One can still be "honest" without being insulting, after all. Saying "I can't use those sounds" is fine, and understandable.)

And I'm still on the hunt for a "clean" sound of the 1996 TVM TARDIS "in-flight" - no background music: just the TARDIS sound, and this one has been eluding me for almost 20 years now! So if you come across that one, mrblorx, please let me know?

One I'd quite like is the SFX when Amy is in the forest on the Byzantium, the sonic beeping on the scanner (Proximity Detector) The Sonic SFX are good, may be good to have some 9/10 plus some classic sonic sounds :)
