That's rather splendid!  Novel but effective door to get into the box, I love that it's not the old conventional hinged door front.  GREAT stuff!!!

It looks very much like the Newberry prop.  Was that the inspiration?

My only inspiration was the general look of the box. I'm not skilled enough to actually replicate a certain version.  I ended up with the slide door because the corners are V shaped wood strips so hinged doors were out. My big grief is the "light" on top. (I just took it off right now) It's just not right. The roof has been my biggest obstacle. This is the 2nd roof...the first was too sharp. I have an idea for the light I'm going to try. I'll post a new pic soon (hopefully).
