I'm glad you like it ex! Like I said, is there anything I could add.

This is looking interesting, but the one thing I would say is that its worth using the panel space you have. If it was me I'd add in more controls on each of the panels, maybe not so many like the Five Doctor's Console, but maybe a bit similar to the original or the Season 13 console. The way I look at it would be that the TARDIS is a very complex time machine and I think she would have quite a few controls and devices in her to control what she does. I hope this helps.

Also are you going to have any roundels in the room?

I see what you mean, but it's hard for me to dream up what kind of controls would be on a console. In fact, the only thing I know that will have a lot of dials and switches is the flight panel. If you could maybe clarify what kind of switches and buttons and such to add to this console, then I will gladly put it in, but until then...

I did consider the round things, but I think I'll store them for a rainy day (or maybe a special occasion ;) )

I'd probably say a few sets of block buttons, maybe a few levers, maybe a radio, a phone and a mic for the communications panel. It would be interesting to see a demat lever of some sort, maybe a door lever. I always quite liked the dials from the McGann console with the copper dots and the black dials. Maybe some read out displays and some pressure type gauges like on the hartnell console, some telepathic circuits and some toggle switches

Just a few ideas there  :P Hope that helps

Yeah, now I kinda get your drift. Thanks.

Tom, one thing you could add to that Monitor panel - maybe to the right of the keyboard - is the trackball from the full graphic. That way the console's operator could move a cursor around on the screen and select objects with ease.

And I love what you've done with the keyboard! That looks fantastic! (And you're quite welcome. I'm glad I was able to help.)

Thanks Dino! Yeah, I see what you mean, but the reason I cut the trackball was because we never see anything that resembles a mouse or cursor on a TARDIS monitor. Hence why I removed it. I actually was going to say that I've made the square dials that you see on the first doctor's console (etc. radiation) but I can't find any plain dials without the borders or the actual thing, I just need the display.

Um, this isn't an update, this is more a question. Can I get a mod/admin to close/remove/lock this thread? Thank you

Tom, you should be able to lock it on your own. Look to the lower left corner of the page and you should see a "Lock Topic" Tab. Just click on that and the thread will be locked. And anytime you choose, you can click on the same Tab (which will then say "Unlock Topic") to open the thread for further discussion.

I hope this helps. (Shame to hear that you want it locked, though; it was coming along so nicely, and parts of it have given me some ideas to try on my Identity Crisis console design.)

There is a reason for this locking of the topic.
