Hi folks, i'm new here but I have followed various builds on this websites for a few years. I have decided to start a project and build a 1/13 scale Tom Baker TARDIS console from around season 15 to fit in with the scale of the 5" Character Options figures. I cannot seem to find any measurements for this scale anywhere online therefore I was wondering if someone would kindly provide me with the measurements or point me in the right direction?
I am taking this project very seriously, I have the plasticard and foam board on order ;D, I want to get the controls pretty much screen accurate and I am seriously considering adding electronics to it when finished.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Thank you

Scott

With that particular console - and at this scale - you might find working with styrene sheet practical. In fact, you could save some time by having some of the flat details of the panels laser cut from thin sheet.

I nearly forgot that there's an old trick to modeling 1:13 (with very slight rounding that is technically 1:12.7). Whatever the dims are in inches, just double those numbers. The results are the millimeters for each measure at scale. For instance, the red tubes in the rotor are 4" in diameter, but they'll be 8 mm in the 1:13 model.

I had always wondered what the reason behind such a goofy scale was. Now if someone will just explain what 1:43 is all about...
