Sorry I just wish that the designers hadn't changed it from "and" to "&"
as you can see from these images;

I see. They change 'urgent' to 'all' as well.

I found out some information about the sign;

"For the The Seeds of Death, the sign on the telephone compartment door changed considerably. The new version is different in layout, font, size and colour. The black-on-white became white-on-blue and the words FOR USE OF PUBLIC were all run together on one line. The word and was replaced in two places with an ampersand (&) which would be retained to the present day."

"It was during a refurbishment for the Castrovalva cameo, that the wording on the telephone plaque was changed which would have a knock-on effect in the 21st century. During the episode the TARDIS was only seen on its side and from a distance, but publicity photos of the new Doctor shows that where it used to say officer and cars respond to urgent calls it now says officer and cars respond to all calls."

And in that thread it shows the Yardley-Jones Mark I returned to the original "OFFICERS AND CARS RESPOND TO URGENT CALLS", as did the 1996 Hudolin box. The Yardley-Jones Mark II (sandwiched in years between the Y-J Mark I and Hudolin) brought back the ill wording in the same pattern as on the Newbery, which is the style that was brought into the New Series.

The "Seeds of Death" phone panel was the real odd ball, having no frame, a tiny finger pull on the left side, and sitting flush with the door stiles. Its background turned from TARDIS blue to charcoal grey in "The Three Doctors", and stayed that way until its final cameo at the end of "Seeds of Doom". (Funny, that: how this odd panel made its first and last appearances in stories that involved deadly plant seeds.)

But now we're drifting off topic. The style of the wording on the New Series phone panel started with the Newbery prop. And LMC, you've got it pretty much looking very good now. Keep up the fantastic work!

I'm thinking of changing the walls. Which one should I use.
the new one 106.jpg
or keep the old one 107.jpg

I would use the design in the top image as it looks more authentic, whereas the bottom image the walls look too wide.

The bend at the end looks a bit too sharp.

Which is better?

Both pictures are of the new design

Or should I stick with the old one.

There needs to be a slight change in your design.

As you can see in the image, the the metal bit in the middle doesn't extrude to the thickness of the little metal edge around the "cutout"
I am hoping the image explains and shows you what I mean.

They're like bent "I" beams, and that image you posted, 13th, shows the curve of the buttresses nicely. That should help LMC get the shapes right.

Just a little update because it has been a while. I tried the modifications as best as I can and also making sure they fit with rest of the model too.

I re-texture it later. Also is it a improvement to my last attempt?  :-\

Look at your struts that you have recently posted, look at the area that you still have in the TARDIS "material", that needs to look a bit more like this;

I hope the image from what my struts look like help you to see what I mean.
