This will only work if you have £430 on hand.
Buy an iPad, if you don't already have one, for the screen.
Then build three parts of a frame and glue them together, make the 4th part and put it on a hinge. If you get the sizing right and find a decent scanner screen picture, you will have a framed screen in your console that the iPad just slides into.

This was just an idea that came to me.

You could also use a digital picture frame which is slightly cheaper but sometimes thicker.

Or you could use a tablet, which is much cheaper than an iPad.
