Right, after trying a few times, I think the only way it will work is if I upload them all separately, sorry everyone, here we go!

Isn't it how ironic that we have to think of solutions out of the box, in order to build our boxes a lot of the time?

Too bad they have those TARDISes so close to the wall - and each other - that you can't really get a photo of the John Hurt TARDIS' back, or that left side. (Someone complain to that interior-of-the-exteriors decorator! ;)) I guess it's time to invoke that "artistic license" again, unless CO comes out with a "War Doctor TARDIS", and its weathering/blast marks are accurate.

Great close-up on that big blast mark on the door!

I have to say Dino, I dont reckon they would. The lantern is very similar to that of the Newbery box. But I saw a picture on facebook the other day (Should of saved it!) of someone who was modifying a Tennant CO box and he had the Smith, Tennant and his modified CO boxes in a line, like at the experience and I noticed that CO clearly hadnt bothered to modify the Smith box when they brought it out as it was exactly the same height as the Tennant one. They had just changed the windows, took out the electronics, changed the inside wall, changed the lantern and slapped a St. Johns Ambulance logo on it....So I doubt they will bring out a Hurt box. They seem to be cutting corners lately, like I also noticed with the Hurt Figure they brought out, they have given him a Eccleston/Tennant sonic as the tip is blue (They may have now changed this...)

Anyway enough of my rant...

Sounds like you saw my mate Rob's custom War Doctor TARDIS:

As the figure isn't out until February, I imagine the sonic with the War Doctor was a stand-in.  I agree with your speculation on a War Doctor TARDIS, even if they managed to make a good job of the scuff marks and damage, it'd probably only have a flashing light... and even then I'd be sceptical on that after one of the later Matt Smith TARDIS releases.

Coincidentally on the subject, I snapped up a Tennant Flight Control TARDIS (with figure) in a charity shop today for £3.75... I'd been trying to get one on eBay for this very conversion, so that pleased me considerably. :)

I figured they would just re-use the Tennant TARDIS, but put a different lamp on it. It was the blast marks I was referring to when I mentioned accuracy.

And, Kingpin: you lucky, dog, you!

Great images! And to add to the left side:
WarDoctorTARDIS(LeftSide).jpg
I can't remember where I found this one, and it's at a pretty sharp angle, but you can see the back half of the left side (without the Tennant costume coat sleeve in the way). It doesn't look like there are any "blast" marks to worry about back there.

Once again it looks like Kingpin's found one of the best images of that side of the War Doctor's TARDIS. :) And it's got a great view of the lamp as well. It looks like the lamp has only three struts going from the cap to the base a-la Newbery, but with dark blue/black paint on it rather than the Newbery's white paint job.

I just noticed, there are still the hinges set as they were for the élèventh hour, when this prop was the series 4 tardis. Does it mean that this box doors open to the outside or théy swing both ways ?

Interesting food for thought, i'll have to rewatch the day of the doctorIMG_20210125_215021_068.jpg
