Well its fair to call him Mr Timegirl, but the irony is not lost on me :)

I love the season 14 console too, but my console of choice would absolutely be the 5 Docs console... I LOVE IT! :D
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Hi TG

It's been a while since I saw that pic! I love the colour scheme. I can't remember, but what blue paint did you use in the end? Was it one of the Wild Waters?

cheers
Chris

lol - I'm still hoping for David Tennant (swoon)

Hi Chris - I had to check my paint colour, It was Venetian Crystal 1 (Dulux range)
Or as I remember, we called it  'Venusian Crystal'  :)
I bought a spare pot quite a while ago, in case they stopped making it, so I could give it another coat. I hope paint doesn't go off? eek

ah-ha! Thanks TG, I remember now - the old Venusian Crystal :D Anyway, looks great. I haven't 100% decided on my top-coat yet. So far I've painted mine in Wild Water (but it's a weathershield paint, and the closest you can get to matt is satin which is a little too reflective for me; which means I'll be using emulsion as a sacrificial cosmetic coat in the end.)

TG,
A wonderful colour indeed, VC1.  She's an excellent TARDIS/Police Box.  I fine master piece and considering you built her with minimal equipment.  I can't wait to see more photos of her re-assembled at the new homestead.  Cheers!

I'm still really pleased with the colour, it's exterior smooth paint but I didn't think it was satin...perhaps it is  :-/. My flash usually fires and spoils the colour in photos but that photo shows the colour as it really is (unlike my avatar).

I will do a re-build diary Doctor IZ  :)

Amazing Police Box, this. It looks incredible!

That's the good thing about building the outside of the TARDIS - at least you can keep it in the garden...  :-/

Just tell Mrs Celation how much in awe we all are of her tollerance of such things and how wonderful we think she must be and you'll have an entire room in no time at all ;)

Thank you  celation  :)

I wish that would work with my other half, Marc. I'd love have a go at console building but Mr Timegirl has warned me that he's sure it would be accepted as unreasonable behaviour in a court of law -lol

lmao :) Mr Timegirl... applying the opposite gender title to one's internet monicker never worked so badly :P

What console would you like to build TG?

Well what would *you* call him on here??? :)

Anyway, I'm sure a nice hexagonal maple-wood writing desk/bureau would coordinate with many a fashionable living room.... And that circular plate on the top of the Season 14 console is just asking for a pop-up anniversary clock/orrery-style mechanism.

I've even thought about doing one myself.
