It is always interesting that the hard to find behind the scenes photos can only be found in these DVD extras

Rob, I think it would be really interesting to see plan some plan view renders of your 5 docs console room walls/pillars and stuff, with some numbers. So we can compare with what's happening here

Given the coat stand position, I reckon it was taken during The Awakening.

Ah ha!  This proves what I was trying to get across a few years ago that the interior doors had extensions added to hide the black backdrop when the doors were open!  Thank you for posting this.

This was the illustration I made when I was trying to prove my point and also show how the doors were slightly tapered so they wouldn't bump into each other like the original TARDIS set doors did.

I haven't checked this but it's white in the Five Doctors and Frontios. There wasn't one present in Warriors of the Deep and there's a grey one in The Awakening (positioned where it is in this photo). I think it's the photo processing that makes it look darker than it is (or it was prior to recording and they got a brown one by accident and had to paint it quickly thus it being grey to match the walls).



I love what they did with the doors for this console room, it makes the doors look much tidier and more solid.

Despite my love of the original, this has long been my favourite version.
