Hi all
Outside tardises leak in the end, or for some, in the beginning.
I have felted the pitch and first step so far, with good resuts;

And now with the darker, more met boxish colour;

I held back from taking this step, but in the end I think I had to.

KB,
Did you use Bondo to to a join your seams on your roof?  Or did the Bondo crack under the weight of the snow in the cold season?  Was the water damage bad?

I just discovered this section of the forum.  I, too, used roof felt (tar paper) to waterproof my roof and have been pretty happy with the results.  I cut triangles to cover two sides of the roof at a time so I could overlap them with multiple layers.

Since I was using leftover materials from another project, I didn't put on as much tar under the felt as I'd have liked and the roof has--not really "bubbled", but it hasn't stayed completely flat.  But it is fine for my tastes.
