I managed to find "The Time Machine" (1931 edition, as in the TVM) on ebay a few years ago when I was still working. Whoever owned this book over the years took loving care of it. Even its protective hard cardboard jacket is almost like new! I got lucky; it had a "Buy It Now" button and the price was extremely reasonable. I almost got "Doctor in the House", again from ebay while I was still working, but that one was an auction only item and sadly I was outbid. (Can't win 'em all.)

I'm sure I used to own that very pen years ago - it may be in the house somewhere in a drawer.
It had a clip for the pen and a coiled cord like the type that they used to use on Telephones.
