I'm very impressed and I'm sure glueing the hundreds of buttons will be rewarding in its own way!

just a little detail I thought I'd update.

I saw Kingpin's fine Photo and decided to make a modification.

This reminds me of when I build my full-sized 5 Doctors console out of cardboard in the mid-90's.  The insets are always a bear, even when at full size.  The there's the buttons...ugh my fingers raw from all that duct tape.

I'm actually blown away by this build. But scissors? You really must be Chuck Norris... (Either that or I am overestimating the importance of the scissors in the pictures )

Wow! This beauty is moving right along. I must confess that I was never a fan of the "Five Doctors" console, but this build is starting to sway me. (Not that I'll ever build one - model or full-scale - but I am starting to appreciate the beauty of it.)

As for those scissors... my wife has a couple of pairs just like that which she uses on her craftwork. Those are "precision" scissors; you'd be surprised just what kind of intricate cuts you can easily make with them!

After I finish all the shelves on the console I want to rodo a couple of them - to make them look better

Did some straitening for some of the shelves on the console.

Well at this point I needed a bit of a break from the top of the console so I decided to turn my attentions to the base again.




I wasn't sure if this was going to work out very well -


I was pleasantly surprised.

Without intending to, I seam to have worked in the Persian Flaw into my work.
there is a side to both the base panel and a top panel that due to some minor imperfections (that maybe only I care about.) Will be as though it were the dark side of the moon. Forever obscured as the far side of the Console - that part that faces the scanner. lol

This has determined which panel will have the door control and the Recall device indicator.
