After looking in my attic for a while I found the remnants of my Lego Tardis Console room - this is meant to be the Pertwee Doctor with Sonic Screwdriver, plus K9 with a view screen, and a policebox. Made this sometime in the last century .... and I'm thinking of restoring it to a full console room someday.

why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

This is really cool. I know from my own experience that there weren't many small and useful parts in 1980. The LEGO space series had just started 2 years earlier.
I like that your police box got doors to open. I tried using door when I first built my box, but since they normally open to the inside, I gave up.

The wall parts are clever and the console is brilliant. K-9 wasn't easy to recognise, but hey, 1980s.

I just finished my new police box last weekend, together with the 1st doctor.

thank you for the kind words I remember buying a lego aircraft of some kind  over and over again because it had computer screens and the roundel windows. (it may have been a police rescue aircraft - I can't remember. it was new at the time.)

*edit just found a third wall part so the roundel wall is now taller.

this was the lego set I bought over and over again back in 1988.

I also have a master's Tardis around here somewhere. It was a white column that had a door that opened.

Isn't it wonderful to explore the own past? It's a bit like time travel.  ;)

it is wonderful - and as I check the Lego.com pick a brick archive I notice it is also expensive  :P
