I agree, the old school signs are a much better fit,  I need to make some other small adjustments, I need to find a better paint color, get the windows backlit at some point and get a St. Johns badge as well.  I had to rebuild the beacon topper as the old one was made from flimsy pressboard and became water logged and split, I rebuilt in two sheets of plywood and bondo,  its just primed now but I wanted to get it on the box, I'll be painting that up next weekend.

Is this the fiberglass build or is it wood? I like how it can easily be disassembled to be stored.
I am going to start building one (Matt Smith era) and want it to be a similar build, so I can disassemble/transport/reassemble quickly and quietly.

Any information or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

The new signs look fantastic!

Looks like I'm going to be following in your footsteps on the fiberglass build once I get the 1996 console out of the way...

Hey there, halojdawg! Just commented on your introduction in here: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=3312.msg37708;topicseen#msg37708. I think I may have provided enough reference links to keep you busy for a while.

Thought I would post some recent pictures, I was visiting my folks up in Vermont and took the TARDIS out of storage and put her up.  I'll be going up again in October to bring her down to VA to go in my sunroom in the house.  She needs a repaint but as she is fiberglass she has held up spectacularly well.

And a  couple pictures of her and my other girl.

That is a beautifully executed Barachaki.  The lock is on the other side, but that's the way mine is too.  And the dark blue with blue trim has me hankering to going back to the more familiar TARDIS paintjob (To date, Capaldi is the only Doctor to have exclusively a TARDIS with white trim).  I've been toying with it for awhile, but these photos make me want it even more.

A handsome build indeed. And nice to see it casting a shadow again.

In my mind for some reason I'm imagining it installed on the back of the jeep. :D

Angelus Lupus

I like it! Nice to see - contrary to the 2005 brief to bulk up the Tardis to look more substantial - that a Brachacki can look solid and imposing next to a Jeep!
Can't wait to see this with a repaint, looks like it's gone grey on top while it was waiting for you  ;D

Lol yeah the top was extremely dusty being in the barn so the tone turned a gray,  I had to scrape off some mud wasp nests (empty, thank goodness) off the roof prior to assembly too

question for the pro's here.  You think with some modification (IE: a new roof section, paint, and signage) I could get this to look pretty close to the Brachaki?  the more I look I think I can easily pull it off with a bit of a refit of certain items,  Do a new roof for it which pushes the lines forward a bit to meet the panel right over the signs.   Anything else might need modification?   Doors I would probably leave as is, same with the lock position, just white frames,  St. Johns badge and new door sign/Police box signs

What did you do, just take out a roof step?  Or is there more that I'm missing.
