Is it true there is only one Five Doctors console in the whole world? Apart from the one seen in Panopticon 2003, it seems no fan has ever finished the console.

Was it simply too hard for anyone to do? ???

There is one other real 5 Doctors console, and that was the rehearsal console.  It was mostly reject panels for the main build.  It did have some buttons and switches on the panels, but there were a lot of holes/broken areas on it.  The current owner of this alternate console is Purpleblancmage, who is over a the TARDIS Builders Forum now.  Due to life and various other projects he has going on, he hasn't gotten around to fixing up the rehearsal console and make it a near clone to the original, which is in the hands of Andrew Beech along with the first 1980's TARDIS prop.

Thanks. Was it Andrew Beech's console that was seen in Dimensions in Time?

Mostly it was.  But they got sneaky and actually had new top panels made, hence alot of hot pink buttons and switches.  They also either used red gels or had a red perspex column made instead of the clear one.
