I still have to build the time rotor (I have a plan), I have to construct the outside walls, and I have to make a new viewer cover (the original didn't fit quite right), but otherwise, this is done! Lots of work went into it, and I'm pretty proud of myself :)

You've every right to be proud of yourself, that's a great model you've crafted.  Well done :)

I agree, very impressive detail for this miniature. Amazing the talent some people have. I could'nt do miniatures due to my big hands.

This looks wonderful! Did you take any photos during the earlier stages?
I would love to see how you did it.

Thanks for the great responses guys :) Here's a little more on my process.

I built my console room from foamcore and a sturdy printer paper:

... which I painted various shades of grey and black:

The floor and ceiling were layered to build grooves for the walls:

and I built simple softboxes for the transparent roundels with battery operated Christmas lights and printer paper:

And the console was built on a paper frame, with stickers over the frame (for the buttons) and painted panels over the stickers:

Then I assembled the main walls, which include opening main doors and the secondary door (with paper hinges):

Finally, I added the ceiling, columns and trim at the top:

Here are a couple with all 11 Doctors:

Fanstastic!  I love the way you framed it with that black surround. That's a beautiful display piece you've created.  I really like the shot through the door.  Great sense of perspective and movement. :)
