Hello All,

If anyone can help me build the 11th Doctor Console by sending me blueprints and all the part names and things that would be extremely helpful.

Many Thanks

There are no blue prints per say, but plenty of reference pics and information on the forums here

Wow, good luck, you're going to need it.

There are some plans here although the model isn't finished: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=1746.0
And there's also some things in the reference section: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?board=102.0

It has a post on the central column which may be useful.
I do think however that you should be careful, a box and a console, especially one this complicated and big will cost a LOT of money.
The column is a very tall perspex tube with two large pieces of blown glass in the middle, not only will they be very big but they will cost a hell of a lot of money.

Not exactly "plans" though are they...

The sketchup thing is kinda of a plan, anyway, let us not argue over someone else's console.

As posted by our ever-vigilant Mod, Scarfwearer:
"Please note: we have been specifically requested by the copyright-holders not to publish detailed plans and dimensions for the 2005 and later props. Overall dimensions and drawings are OK."

So, it looks like renders and photo references are the best we (any of us) are going to get for the new 9th through 11th Doctor props, which  :( includes TARDISes and consoles.

On a positive note, we are getting rather good, however, at identifying what the bits and pieces of the new consoles are! Which means, the reference sections are only getting better and better.

I have the book, The TARDIS Handbook. It has some close up pics of the new console so if I were to scan these would that be breaching copyright?

I think a small number of scans for "research" purposes is allowed.

I would recommend buying the handbook if you can get it, it has an in depth, if slightly fictionalised, breakdown of each panel similar to the old doctor who monthly plans. I suspect that these are the same as those given to Matt Smith as seen on confidential.

From what I can see, since I have the "Handbook", they are. And there are photos of those in the TARDIS Interior reference board, 2010 sub-board.
