Hi All

I'm looking for some advice.  I bought a new series style TARDIS off a guy a few years ago and unfortunately, the weather has taken its toll on it.  I was going to attempt to repair the damage and make it waterproof but then wondered about reproducing the whole thing in fibreglass.

I could prep and renovate existing sections into moulds to then cast in FG. 

I'm wondering if anyone has done this, what they used, how difficult it was and was it worth it?

Any help would be appreciated.

It would be lighter , stronger and wont rot. but would take more work to do and plan.

Lighter yes stronger maybe. More expensive, you bet. I'd thought about doing it before and the way I would tackle it be to do the roof, base and walls in fiber glass.  The posts I'd do in wood . I'm not sure how flimsy the walls would be so it'd be a good idea to have them on good and sturdy posts. The best part about fiberglass is its weather proof. I think the killer on something like this is gonna be cost .if you use a gel coat one gallon is gonna cost close to a hundred dollars

Karsten's TARDIS is fibreglass.  You might want to check his stuff out.
