The telephone instructions

I've just done this up, in case it's of any use.  It's a copy of the instructions posted beside the telephone in a Tooting box, inside the cubby.

If I'd known you were wanting one of these, I could have sent you mine! I think I put up photos of it on my police box thread, but I forgot to report it anywhere that anyone would actually find it. Sorry about that.

Nice!  I have made two corrections to mine -- and to nitpick yours, 'approximatey' needs an 'l'. :)

Edit: Looking at the Crich box picture, I see it may well have been 'approximatey' on the original.  How depressing.  I'll be spelling it right, I think ;)

I opted for lovingly reproducing the idiosyncrasies of the original. Of course these days we have ubiquitous spelling checkers, so errors of that sort never happen... :)

I figure that given the people of Tooting needed to be told how to use a telephone, it would follow that the police there were only barely qualified to provide it to them :)

Or -- maybe 'approximatey' refers to someone who's maybe a pirate, maybe not. Eye patch, but no parrot.
