Slide I took in 1992, at the BBC TV Centre in Wood Lane, London whilst Tomorrow's World demonstrated the Colourisation Process, for The Dæmons, that myself and Ralph Montagu were developing at the time.

why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

We owe you a debt of gratitude for the colour-recovery process - I believe that it's not just Doctor Who but also such classics as Dad's Army which have benefited from the process.

Thank you, sir!

I have to say, the extra multicoloured lights added inside the time rotor here look really nice. Particularly when they turn the studio lights down during the end credits.

Makes the console look a little like the 'toyota' 11th/12th Doctor one. Certainly highlights how the omnipresent, full-strength studio lighting can often seem 'flat' (for want of a better word) in hindsight, compared to post-2005 interiors.
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.

Certainly explains what was going on with the lighting in Dimensions In Time!
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Nice to see that. I remember when it came out on tape for the first time Dr. Who magazine did one all about it. Good to see they still had Bok's head. A friend of mine and I once went to Aldbourne in Dorset and had a few beers in the pub. The barman spotted us for Dr. Who fans, then told us he knew nothing about it, then told us lots of stories. He was just as much a fan as we were!
' Chap with the wings there, Five rounds rapid!'
