Good question... It'd be interesting to know if it was there back in The Ghost Monument, or if they brought it in to allow them to dismantle some of the set in preparation for the 2023/24 episodes without it being obvious that was happening.

It does seem that way, in the image you can see a number of roundels lent up against the curtain which does suggest that the curtain was placed to hide the dismantled parts of the interior.
