Muhahahahaha

Maybe.

Also, here's where the lamp is:

But upon further inspection of the actual lamp, I think the surrounding "cage" needs to be closer.
The top and bottom black sections are 3d printed but will be painted in copper/brass colours, then I need to work out how best to add the wire in and around it. The idea is its meant to be taken apart easily if required.

That's shore is a purdy Fresnel.

nice looking lens you got there  ;)

I'm generally happy with my...affordable...Vermont Lantern "Fresnel" lamp chimney.  But when I see a really nice actual lens Fresnel it does make me want one (also when I see the puny amount of light mine generates compared what it could do with a real lens).

Yay!
Glad to see this build back on track!
Looks like a couple of other builds going on in the background there...
Are you one of those builders who likes to have a few builds going on at the same time so you can switch from build to build depending on which one you fancy working on at any time?
Your Tardis is looking great, BTW.

As another chap who presumed, after hours of Tiktok videos suggesting so, he might have ADHD I do wonder if the fact of flitting between projects is one of those things - to keep the brain active/[insert relevant ADHD trait here]
So yes, budget/space/time/weather decides which other project gets chosen next.  I wish I had somewhere they all could all live without flatpacking them constantly! Not like we Brits have the space of Alan and his Whoseum!

Lintels complete and signboxes are going on now, then I am a door hanging away from applying texture and paint proper.

If you happen to be in Upminster on 30 April, you might be able to meet the box in person...

Yeah, lack of space is my biggest issue, too.
What we need is a proper working Tardis so we can store an infinite number of builds inside!!

Finally sanding the backs of these for a frosty ... err... backing..

Also discovered some wood I needed for the box that I didn't realise I had! So thats helped me stop spending to get this done lol

Texturing finally going on. I suspect this is going to be a developing thing [the texturing] over time.

Base coat of paint goes on (need to elevate it to paint the base, ruined far too many rollers hitting stones lol)

That would be a decent Barachaki paintjob.  Can't wait to see the finished product.
