Half TARDIS? Yeah, the result of a materialization glitch

I modified the plans from WWMM (woodworking for mere mortals) and made it a half Tardis. We recently tore down a portion of our deck made of Canadian white cedar and I'll be using this for the build. So Besides screws and paint, it should be all recycling. Good for the wallet and for the environment. The other change is that the doors will open outwards (gasp)!

Slow progress, started to cut a few of the boards close to length. Need 85 1/2 inches so cut to 86.

For the base, I had a some remnants of 2x8 that I ripped in half to create 2x4s. Still think I won't have to buy any lumber for this project.

Here's the 1st part of the base.

Too hot and no wind for sailing. That means a bit of time to work on the project. Still on the base and also tried to level the ground on which it'll rest. Bought the opaque stain for the colour. Couldn't an exact match in paint, but seems close!

Leveled the ground properly... slowly starting to materialize...

A bit of progress. I was to source some materials (tore down the pergola of my neighbour...yes at her request ) Bring to proper sizes was the biggest part of the job...

Some good progress recently!

Need to stiffen the doors, build the roof, tile the windows and add signage.
