Hi two questions, I can't quite see in the pictures but if you've emulated the pebbled glass what did you use and do you know where to get the police signs to print off?

Could you provide a link to the buttons and the clear acrylic thing

Maybe too late for a response, as I've not been around much. But I use a different colour for each TARDIS.

1960s version. DH Oxford Blue, 5681 (by Dulux Trade)

1974 version. Deep Ocean (by Leyland Trade)

1977 version. A mix of the above two.

Sorry, been away for a while.

I always simulate the pebble glass when present. I get the plastic from a 4 pint milk bottle. These bottles have a variety of textures, and the one I used from Salisbury's had both pebbled and smooth plastic on the same bottle. Just wash out the bottle, cut it into sheets and glue behind the window frames with super glue or gorilla glue. It can also be painted with enamel model paints if required.

I could, but probably no need as 'Mooncrest Models' now sell a perfect 1/6 resin Fresnel through their site www.mooncrest_models.co.uk for about £4.00. Get the MK2 version, as the MK1 is for a real police box and too big for a TARDIS.

If you are looking to build a different scale, then all you need to do is measure the width of the Fresnel and buy a pack of clear plastic buttons of the same size. Get plain ones. You will also need a plastic disc of the same diameter for the centre part, and these are listed on eBay as 'clear acrylic disc'.
