Does anyone know of a good MP3 or WAV soundboard small enough to fit in a Classic Sonic Pertwee to Davison version?

I notice Plecterlabs make one but not sure if you can add custom sounds to it.

My plan is to install electronics into a third Doctor Sonic replica and add custom sound bites from the Sea Devils, The Mutants and Carnival of Monsters...If I can find those sounds that is, or I will have to record my own from the episodes.

This is something i've been wanting to do for ages but there doesn't seem to a practical board or solution.

I've even taken apart a spare CO sonic but there's no way to add custom sounds and the positive battery contact came away from the board, I don't feel inclined to butcher another one but settling with CO sounds would be my last resort anyway.

Other options i've explored are voice recording pens but they are quite expensive for something i'd need to take apart, it would be a lottery as to whether I could wire a loud speaker to them since most require headphone for recording playback.

The frustrating thing is I know it's possible. CO toys use very small sound chips, I also have a RussRep 4th Doctor Sonic with a simple sound module that plays one sound and Rubbertoe's 4th Doctor Sonic apparently features a modified CO chip?

Any other ideas would be much appreciated please :)

I don't know if it's still possible (it was a few years ago and I have lost the link)

But it used to be possible to get the Character Options soundboards from their sonics.

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Oh really, you mean buy the soundboards separately directly from CO? Interesting if so...

Yes that's the one I mentioned in my post. I've e-mailed Plecterlabs but had no response in regards to custom sound fonts.
