I've got 2 days off this weekend, so I decided it was time to finish the inside of the police box. Got some work done today on putting together the interior window frames. Here's how the window is currently being held in from the inside with bits of blue painters tape:


And here is one of the inner frames, cut from 1/4 inch ply with a jigsaw:


Added a 1 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch frame around that:


And the transom latch, which may or may not end up being functional:


Also, also adding covers for the insides of the sign boxes so they look less messy:

One of the BEST 2nd Doctor lines haha Hopefully I can work some cg magic to make it it look properly bigger on the inside.

Got lots of work done today, ready for painting tomorrow! Can't wait to share the results.

Got everything painted, but I'll have to move the TARDIS over a bit to put the roof on without it hitting one of the ladders hanging from the ceiling. In the meantime here's the pics I have so far:

My Halloween TARDIS setup! I also took some videos which I might post later in the week. Had a few Doctor Who fans stop by and got some excellent reactions!

It is a little trippy as long as you're looking at it from the right angle. I think it would have worked even better if the garage had been a little bit taller, but it's not bad for a Halloween setup and something I've been wanting to try for a while. There were a few Dr Who fans who were probably more excited then the kids about running into a police box and finding the console room inside!
