Hello all! I've recently been working on a new model, I thought about making a build diary for it but I didn't bother in the end so here's a gallery of the finished thing instead! I haven't personally seen anyone make a model of the Capaldi Tardis in 1:13 before (please do correct me if I'm wrong) so I thought i'd give it a go for myself. This model was 3D printed in PLA and I aimed to make it as accurate as possible and I'm very happy with how well it has come out! I've gone for a series 8-9 look, I do really like the series 10 box but I wasn't too sure how to replicate the weathering.

The wonderful render for the interior backdrop was made by the TARDISman and it looks absolutely fantastic! the details in it are beautiful. (https://www.instagram.com/the__tardisman/)

Really good model, it looks quite acurate on my books.

Thanks! I double checked everything this time to avoid messing any measurements up like I did on my Newbury 😂

I don't know why, but i love your photos and this model. despite being the new series tardis that i like the less for how cheap and fake it looks, you're manange to make it up. i guess seeing it in action helps a lot.

I swear this is supose to be a compliment

Thanks! yeah I can see where you're coming from about the prop looking a bit fake, one thing I do like about the prop though is the fact it looks quite sturdy, same goes or all new series boxes. That was something I was really aiming to achieve with this model and I recon that has a part to play in making it look as it does. But I can see what you mean about the Capaldi boxes looking cheap and fake.

It's a really great model, i love action shots and effects. i'll have to eventually do the same with mine.
