Thanks all

Quote from: alextheyellowthing on Jan 17, 2021, 12:38 amhow did you do the metal work for the lamp, hanles and stuff?! they look amazing!
Thanks. The lamp struts are just lengths of brass rod bent and cut to size.

The handles are cross sections of styrene rod, cut in half and sanded to get the correct profile. The fixing flanges for the handles are just styrene strips glued to the ends...

It was just brass paint, which I then weathered with the body colour... :)

It's a lockdown, its cold and its wet...

What the hell else am I going to do..?

Angelus Lupus

Impressive work once again! You're also getting more ambitious with the CGI backgrounds, that fly-by/fly-through next to the big spaceship had a 'Trial of a Timelord' feel about it!
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.

Just passing the time...

You must be learning new tricks and techniques all the time, because these just keep getting better!

That would be an awesome recreation....... ;)
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

I know we're supposed to focus upon your TARDIS models, but who is the young woman interacting with the media device?  I really like how she just casually raises her head to glance at the police box, not with shock or astonishment, but almost "reassurance", as though she has experienced a grand adventure.  I get the impression she is "writing" in a "diary" and takes one final, hopeful gaze at the TARFIS just before "vworps" away.

You got a convincing performance out of her!

Sincerely,

Bill

russellsuthern

Yup,
You just keep getting better with every video!

Loved this; absolutely stunning.

Ha! Sorry to burst any bubbles, but she just comes from some stock footage I have the rights to use.

Have to admit the well is starting to a little dry on convincing and interesting background footage now, so things may get a little more challenging...

russellsuthern

Ha! You have fallen into the same trap that I have.
Which is how do you continually keep bettering your previous efforts?!
Can't wait to see what you come up with next...
Remember... Any video can be improved with the addition of a Nimon clumping past in the background...

Regards

You totally have to go out in the street dressed like that, Russ...

I've a couple of little things in mind; however they are likely to be less visually "showy" and more technically challenging - if you know what I mean  ;)
