Heh. That photo looks almost like one of the miniature establishing shots from the early Hartnell episodes.

Ah yes, the Figge's Marsh Box.

I actually found this photo as well some time ago, along with several others of it taken in the same flight, but this is the best. Kept hoping we'd find a ground level shot to start a Topic with, so got back burnered - probably should dig up and post all the loose bits.

Thanks for finding and posting scruffy.

"Ian...oh, Ian!  Would you be a dear and set the kettle on?  I do believe the Doctor has arrived to pay us a visit!"

Well, the style of dress and hair does ever so slightly resemble Barbara from the back.  ;-)

Bill

Excellent find scruffy57. :)
Another colour moment from the 1960's captured! :D
Where did you find it as this page likes to shrink it to a mere 800x456  ???

We need our photo forensic guys in here.  I'd like a better look at the door.  Rest of the box is concrete and the door is teak, of course, so what's going on with the discoloration?  Looking at the rest of the picture I'm assuming it is just snow so maybe a blowup detail won't tell more.  So the followup question is why just snow on the door and not the other panels of the box.  Does the wood have more gaps and texture to retain snow?  Does the concrete heat up better to melt the snow that was on it?  We need the Mythbusters to build a police box.

Dang!  With the color correction, that looks like it was "snapped" just yesterday!

Impressive tweaking!

Thanks, but modesty insists I reveal that, while I admit the results are great, the bulk of the work is down to using the amazing "fade correction" and "color correction" functions in a very old version of Paint Shop Pro! Admittedly I have been using the program since it was merely just a slightly old version, so I've messed with the settings more than enough to be confident of getting a good result  ;D
