Looking great.
Keep up the good work.

Btw: Once you have attached the pictures you need to hit the "insert" button, then the pictures will fully attach & won't look so "grey".

Hope that helps,

Russell

Looking good!

However, I don't think you quite understand how to post on the build diaries section. You shouldn't create a new topic for each new post relating to a single build, you should reply to the topic you have already created.
Oh my giddy aunt!!

IMG_20200914_184112_copy_1984x1488.jpgif anyone's interested, the adhesive I'm using is ct1. The window frame is directly clued onto the perspex windows, this adhesive is also waterproof and is ideal for making the tardis watertight.

At last, I'm starting to navigate my way around. Thx for the help.

All uncoated ready for the blue.IMG_20200919_184101_copy_1488x1984.jpg

Started to paint the framework.
Before I can do the rest, I need to raise my fence due to the main road and curious eyes. I don't really want idiots trying to climb my fence to take a look.
It's a shame that you do get people who'll behave in a way to destroy everything you've done and can't see the time and effort into something that brings joy to some people.IMG_20200920_135230_copy_1190x1587.jpg

Good work so far.

Sorry to hear you are worried about vandalism issues.

I have to say, I haven't heard of many people who have had that problem, but I have heard one or two horror stories, so I guess you can't be too careful...

My TARDIS is in a yard in our local youth center, so it is accessible to the public most of the time, so as soon as it was up I resigned myself to the possibility that it might get vandalised, but It's been up 5 or 6 years now with (fingers crossed) no major issues.

Hopefully, your box will be ok too!

Russell

Hi Russel.
Thanks for your comments.
Hopefully, if people do see it, they are Dr who fans and will appreciate it.
The one's to look out for is the jealous type. I'm just trying to give my grandson some joy and happiness and can't wait to see his face when he sees it.
He's a massive fan, and before the Dr who experience closed, we've been 22 times.
We live in Swansea, south wales the UK, so we didn't have far to travel to Cardiff, around 40 miles.
He was absolutely gutted when it closed, oh well, let's hope it opens back up again.
  Regards
    Stephen.

My experience concurs.  People don't seem to want to vandalize a TARDIS.  More of a worry that people want to believe in a TARDIS.  Hosted a cocktail party one summer and one  of my friends ripped the handle off the phone panel, trying to open it.  He couldn't believe it was just for show and wanted to see what was inside the phone door.  (The answer is "nothing", it's a fake door.)
"My dear Litefoot, I've got a lantern and a pair of waders, and possibly the most fearsome piece of hand artillery in all England. What could possibly go wrong?"

You are so right, Volpone.

My main worry is the door handle, as people constantly grab it & tug at it frantically-
"Can I look inside...What does it look like inside?"

They are so disappointed when they see it's just a shed!

What did they expect to see?

I always say , "Sorry but my transcendental dimensional engineering skills aren't quite up to getting the inside right..." ::)

Cheers!

When my neighbor showed up to help me put it together he asked me what it "did."  I looked at him and said "hold stuff I don't want to put in my garage."  "That's it?"" he asked, disappointedly.  I didn't say anything but I was like "what do you expect it to do?  Travel in time and space?"

Just give him Lucie Miller's definition "Time and Relative Dimension In Shed"!

My grandson lives Patrick troughton, so I've decided to go with a flat roof.

A little different to the norm.
It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
