So my K-9 has a bit of an arch on his back so I was struggling on what to use since my hardboard didn't want to bend.  So what I did in the end was soak it in water for a few minutes, sit it on two boards and sit an old solid iron barbell on it.  It ended up working great.  I will post a picture as soon as I figure out how to make it not so big of a file.

And once I had the back on I sanded the screw heads with my dremel.  I figured it was time to start filling.  I'm not nearly as far along as I'd like to be but a little at a time.

Slow & steady wins the day.

The most important thing is that what you have done so far looks great!

So for now I've finished the filling and sanding on the body.  (So much sanding) Now it's on to either the base or the control panel.

I don't know what happened to the last picture but it looks a little wonky.  It really isn't so tall.

Looks great to me.
Sometimes the pictures do distort the shape a  bit depending on the angle.

Keep up the good work!

So I realized that I haven't posted for quite some time.  When the weather started to get cold and rainy there wasn't a lot to do but I was able to get more done that I will show now.  I plan on starting up again soon.  The head is the next to tackle.

Oh and I definitely copied Russellsuthern's base.  Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

So it's been awhile since I worked on my K-9.  This picture is from the last time I did work on it.  My wife recently passed away and I haven't been in the mood to do any kind of projects.  I will at some point get back to it.

So sorry to hear of your loss.
That really stinks.
I can understand that building a K.9 is probably the last thing on your mind right now.
I hope that when you do get back to building it will at least take your mind off things for a while.
Whenever life sucks & I want to forget about reality for a while, I always retreat into my little Dr Who world.

Best wishes to you

Sorry to hear your news. Take care.
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

So I've finally gotten back to working on my K-9. He has been patiently waiting for me. I haven't done much but I cut the hole for the tail and the neck.  I started on making the tail, I 3d printed a cup for his eye sensor, and I made a templet for the top of his head.  I was hoping to make the top of his head removable but this is proving to be a challenge.  In the picture that you see with his tail on that is not the final length.
