eyyy that looks fantastic!
No, not the mind probe!

Volpone

I gotta say, I was skeptical of the eye-screen, but it looks fine in the photos.  The whole thing looks great.  Well done.

Looks great Russ I am shocked though that you didn't have your seer sucker outfit and wig on for these shots.   I have to say  slightly disappointed here  ;)

Lantern of Gallifrey

Looks great. Makes me feel like I'm moving at a snails pace with mine.  I'm not nearly as far along with mine as you are.

russellsuthern

Thanks for the compliment. :)

There's no rush to get anything done.
I, as much as anybody, needs to learn to enjoy the process as much as the result.

Having said that, I am looking forward to seeing your future progress!

Hi all.

Hope you are well.

So, I was taking some pics of me & K-9 for my 4th Doctor cosplay thread. (Did I mention I had a 4th Doctor cosplay thread? I think I may have done once or twice... ::)  )

Anyhow, I was left with some pictures that didn't really fit in with any particular adventure, as they were taken more from publicity shots rather than any specific story.

So I thought I'd put them in my K-9 gallery, along with the originals, to see how my K-9 stacks up against the real thing.

Hope you like...

The first couple of pictures were taken from a season 15 promo photoshoot:

The original:

Another angle, just because, really:

K-9 gets a bit excited in this one.
I was particularly pleased with how my effort came out:

4.jpg 5.jpg

I think this one came from season 16's "Stones of Blood", although I'm sure It's a promo shot or an out take, as I don't remember the actual scene in the transmitted show itself.
This is another shot that has a strong nostalgic pull for me:

6.jpg

As I could only find the original in black & white, I thought I'd show my picture in the same format:

7.jpg

And a colour version because... I like colour  ;D  :

8.jpg

Finally, K-9 & Pudsey bear teamed up for Children in Need:

9.jpg

I used my bear which I've had since I was a kid to try to recreate the shot:

I was shocked at the size discrepancy. Either Pudsey needs to go on a diet, or my bear is a lot smaller than I thought he was!!

Anyway, no matter, don't tell the bear, but It's the comparison between the two K-9's that's the important thing.. ;D  .

Well, the one thing I have got from these pictures is that my K-9 is a much better cosplayer than I am!

Hey ho..., I had fun taking the pics, so I hope you enjoyed looking at them.

Best regards,

Russell
