Think I understand what I need to get.
But can anyone point me in the direction of a breakdown of all the parts wood/doors/base/signs/roof I need to get for a build. An ideal of what to get based on what anyone else worked  from and is willing to share would be much appreciated.

Oh very well.... Since I've already given this to Fivefingeredstyre/Steve W to help with his 1:7 Newbery build, a sneak peek for you:

What was planned and what was actually built.

Shush, spoilers!  ;)

*If you do manage to generate a list there are many on this forum who would be interested in an itemised list.
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Funnily enough, the full set of plans by Tony are located in http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=9360.msg120733#msg120733, instead of being in either of the Newbery box plans threads.

We don't really have a list of every part that you need, because these will differ according to your building methods. I'd browse around and see the build diaries a little bit, and read the Tardis Builders manual (https://www.docdroid.net/qk1k/tardisbuildersmanualbyglenwalker-1-pdf)
