The two on the left are 'paddle-headed' illuminating toggle switches whilst those on the right are domed 'beehive' car dashboard lamps (available from Dialco (amongst others)).  :)

Thank you Tony  ;D

I'll go have a look around the net and try to find a link to post here.
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

I always heard them called "Duckbill Toggle Switches". But this one. I don't know. It might be a custom made switch. You would have to ask the person who took the pic, what they are, or ask for a serial number on the side.

They are darn cool looking and are justified in this thread.

I was watching Marvel's 2018 Ant-Man And The Wasp. And saw a "cool lever thing" that I think is ideal for Tardis controls.

I suspect this is an Digital Analogue control surface for editing video.

But then, this could be a throttle control for a flight simulator.

If someone recognises it, give me a shout.

Other cool images from the film:

I bet this will be a future garage sale purchase

QuoteHowever, if your budget doesn't stretch to dropping this much on a peripheral, the T16000m or X52 Pro are good options for around £100. The reduced cost means a drop in build-quality and far fewer buttons but still enough to keep you busy. If you just want try something less complex, the T-Flight is incredible value at £50.

is there a good deal somewhere that you can share?

I collect tardis bits. My attic has several shoe boxes, with parts for just about every classic tardis.  (They are not complete collections  ;) ....yet.) I also have some of that black pipping used in the base of the Eccleston/Tennant Console (went dumpster diving for this thing.). These were collected over a long period of time. I've just reached a certain critical mass of tardis switches for this console recently. As for cost - they weren't that expensive - I just went to ebay and typed in "Rectangle Push Button", then maybe a "colour" into the search criteria, and if you're willing to search for a bit you'll start finding the switches from China where you can get them in lots of 5, 10, 15, 20 etc for reasonable prices.... Personally I had to wait several months for orange to manifest at a reasonable price. Set yourself a budget every week. My strategy is to not buy treats and put that money towards tardis parts. You start to make the justification pretty easily . This item is worth 'so many' candy bars, or 'x amount' of sodas from the vending machine. I sell a lot of my Doctor who items from my adolescence on ebay - it's sort of like a trade.

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,

That would be my station, always cursing when I was assigned to the left or right stations. I want the station with the switches and knobs. I'd have less fun on the panel with the plastic cover with the chain, or the one with mostly quarter inch jacks. - though quarter inch jacks are cool in their own right. -So that would be my second favorite station.  ;D [provided more photos don't materialize with cooler stations, then I would have to curse my luck for choosing my post without all the available info. and spending all my time trying to get a transfer.] :P

In the past I used to harvest Toggle switches from old equipment universities tend to dispose of from time to time. But I discovered there are so many mismatching Toggles made presumably by several different factories that may have been separated by decades of time.
